Happy birthday Jam

 

So yesterday was Jam’s birthday meaning he officially joins me in the ‘yes we are nearly 30 club’. To celebrate we both took the day off and went to see the hobbit in 3D. The film was excellent but I’m not sure the 3D made that much sense to be honest, it was only used in certain scenes and having to wear the glasses for all that time did annoy me a bit. His main present from me was a cheese making kit so we can finally perfect his creation that nearly won the cheese award. Other presents included a pacman washbag (for when he goes to LAN parties, mainly to make sure he washes) and his own specially brewed liqueur from awesome company Alchemist Dreams. Last weekend we had dinner at the Bear and Ragged staff with Jam’s dad & stepmum so here are some photos of the birthday celebrations (including some shots of the yummy food).

Jam with his Lavender creme brulee (I thought that sounded disgusting and was even more put off when I saw entire lavender heads in the custard! He did however assure me it was delicious).
